Crime, Thriller (USA — 2000)

Detective/psychologist Alex Cross has withdrawn from police work after his parter got killed in a botched operation. But when a US senator's daughter is kidnapped, Cross gets called back to active duty - by the kidnapper himself. Trying to find the missing girl as well as the motive behind the perpetrator contacting him, Cross partners up with the secrete service agent who was on duty when the girl went missing.
