Scottish rebell William Wallace leads a revolt against the cruel English ruler Edward the Longshanks. The King of England wants the crown of Scotland himself, and uses repression as the way to achieve this goal. William, who lost all his loved ones, leads a quest to free Scotland once and for all. Soon Edward begins to realize that William is unstoppable, and sends his son's bride Princess Isabelle to negotiate.
